Apostles Quiz
An apostles quiz in seven questions about the twelve: who was among them, what they were called, and how the text remembers them. It plays here in the page, no signup asked.
Scope of the quiz
Seven questions about the twelve — who was among them, and how the text remembers each one. Some of the twelve carry long stories and some barely a line, and the quiz reflects that spread: it asks about the names themselves, the bynames and pairings the lists preserve, and the moments particular apostles are remembered for.
One thing worth saying plainly: the New Testament’s lists of the twelve are not identical in every detail. Where the sources differ, a question here names the book it is drawing from or leaves the point alone. That rule is house style on Chapter & Verse, and this page is one of the places it matters most.
Verified against the text
Every answer on the site was entered twice, by independent readers working from the same fixed questions, then compared value by value: eighty-three of eighty-three matched. The register stays neutral throughout — the quiz asks what the accounts record about these men, not what tradition later made of them, and it assumes nothing about what the reader believes. No verse-completion questions appear here either, since reproducing translation text at scale is quotation by the pound, and geography waits for maps.
How a round works
The quiz is playable right here. Each of the seven questions offers four options; choose one and you learn immediately whether you chose right, with the correct answer shown regardless. A full review follows the last question, and the best score you post is remembered by your browser. No signup, no account, nothing sent anywhere.
