Exodus Quiz

Eight questions from Egypt to the tablets — a Ten Commandments quiz that takes the long road there, asking only what the book of Exodus records. Play it in the page and review every answer at the end.

Ground covered

Eight questions trace the arc of the book: Egypt, the sea, the mountain, and the tablets. That last stretch is where this page earns its name as a Ten Commandments quiz — the law given at the mountain sits at the center of the set — but the questions before it follow the road that led there, through what happened in Egypt and at the water.

As on every Chapter & Verse page, nothing asks you to complete a verse from memory, and nothing asks about geography — no routes to place, no locations to pin. Reproducing translation text at scale is quotation by the pound, and place questions deserve maps that do not exist here yet.

Where every answer was checked

Each answer was entered twice by independent readers against the same fixed questions and compared value by value; across the site, eighty-three of eighty-three values agreed. The questions ask what the book of Exodus says — “according to Exodus” is the register throughout — and where other books retell the same events differently, a question names its source or avoids the point. Nothing here assumes what you believe about the events; the quiz stays with what the text records.

What happens when you play

The quiz runs in this page, start to finish. Every question comes with four options; choose one and the verdict is instant, with the correct answer displayed either way. When the eighth question is done you can walk back through all of them in a full review. Your best score is kept in your browser and nowhere else — no signup, no account.
