What the questions ask about

This page sits in the figures wing of the site: 6 questions gathered around one man rather than one book. They trace the story from the basket to the wilderness, following the account in the order the text gives it. A figure page crosses whatever ground the figure’s story crosses, so the material here is not fenced inside a single book the way the pages in the books wing are. Six questions keep it to a single unhurried pass.

Checking the answers twice

The answer key was not taken on one reading. Two readers answered every question independently, each from the text and against the same fixed list, and the two finished sets were laid side by side and compared value by value. That check covered eighty-three values across the site, and every one of them matched. Where the text tells a thing more than one way, a question says which book it is drawing on, or the point is passed over rather than argued. The quiz reports what the account says and stops there.

The mechanics

Play happens in this page. Each question puts up four options; selecting one brings an immediate verdict, with the correct answer shown so nothing stays unresolved. Once the sixth question is answered, a review runs back through the set with your choices beside the right ones. Your best score is remembered by your browser between visits. There is no signup and nothing to install.
