New Testament Quiz
A New Testament quiz of eight questions spanning the Gospels, Acts, and the letters, with Revelation making an appearance. It plays right here in the page, one question at a time.
The territory of this quiz
Eight questions range across the New Testament: the Gospels, Acts, and the letters. Revelation puts in an appearance too, so readers looking for a revelation quiz will find that end of the shelf represented. The set moves between narrative and correspondence — some questions sit inside the accounts, others among the epistles — without settling into any single book for long.
Two things are absent by design, here and across Chapter & Verse: verse-completion questions, because reproducing translation text at scale is quotation by the pound, and geography questions, which want maps and are waiting for them.
How each answer earned its place
Two readers answered the same fixed questions independently, and their entries were compared value by value; eighty-three of eighty-three checked across this site came back identical. Where the Gospels tell an event differently from one another, a question names the book it draws from rather than blending the tellings, and where no single source can be named, it avoids the point. The register is descriptive throughout — what the text records, not what to make of it — and it assumes nothing about the reader.
The mechanics
Play happens on this page. Each of the eight questions offers four options; your pick is marked right or wrong the moment you make it, with the correct answer shown. A review at the end lays out the whole set again, and your best score is stored in your browser. No signup is asked for, because none exists.
